‘Glooped’ at Kinterbury Creek with Victoria Road Primary School!

We had a wonderful afternoon with year 5 at Victoria Road Primary School! After talking about how nature words are disappearing from our dictionaries, the pupils did a fantastic job of making up some new ones; we really liked ‘glooped’ as a word for someone who is stuck in the mud! Hundreds of years ago in Devon, they used to call them ‘stugged’. We then went down to Kinterbury Creek to play games about senses and make some stories. Thank you Victoria Road- you were brilliant!
