Nettle cordage

We were busy in Ham Woods yesterday making nettle cordage. I haven’t done this for a while and had forgotten how strong the resulting rope. Its so simple to make using the outer fibres of the nettle and we hardly even got stung! Everyone also got to taste some of the cucumber flavoured13989460_10157314625400434_2091596354_n young leaves.
