Hunt us down in the woods, parks, creeks, beaches, rivers, seas and meadows of Devon
Thanks to Friends of the Earth and the year one and two girls and boys at Plaistow Hill School we were able to create a soon to be beautiful wildflower meadow. Hopefully as the sun shines down on our seeds combined with a healthy dose of rain they will germinate into a rich array of grasses and wildflowers. In the summer we hope to return and search for bees, butterflies and moths feeding on the nectar from the flowers. Little wildflower spaces like this are so important for insects as they provide both food and shelter. Without them we wouldn’t have pollinators for all our delicious fruit!
