Empty classroom day at Mayflower Academy Plymouth

There were a lot of giggles as we tried to complete some of the National Trust 50 things to do list including hurtling down grassy slopes, making a long snake through the dense woods and tackling the assault course. We also made pine cone bird feeders to go up in Ham Woods, planted herbs in the sensory garden, maintained the veg bed which was overflowing with mange tout, strawberries and broad beans. We then travelled down to the woods to learn natural navigation skills and seek treasure.
