Hunt us down in the woods, parks, creeks, beaches, rivers, seas and meadows of Devon
Brook Green Centre for Learning’s outdoor day proved a huge success yesterday. Year 10’s built some new steps into Woodland woods directly from the school down to the stream where year 9 did some kick sampling with Plymouth City Council. We managed to find all sorts of life in the tiny little stream including hundreds of fresh water shrimps and a couple of Dragon fly nymphs that look like things from the time dinosaurs roamed the earth. I can’t imagine how scary the nymphs would have been of the prehistoric dragonflys that really did exist with windspans of over 2 foot!
