Hunt us down in the woods, parks, creeks, beaches, rivers, seas and meadows of Devon
This week we have teamed up with Thornbury School staff team to jointly seek future opportunities to take learning outdoors. Teachers were able to see all the resources that different organisations have produced to facilitate learning across the curriculum outdoors, discover and experience using all the school kit. This included learning how to whittle arrows, light fires with Alfred’s cake, weave woodland plants and make seed bombs. We then had the chance to plan future joint days maximizing the potential of all the space, kit and newly learnt skills. Hopefully this will include a spring whole school empty classroom day.
