Woods to Waves at St Paul’s Primary School

We had a wonderful day at St. Paul’s Primary School today as part of our Woods to Waves project.  We spent the day with year 4 and 5 students: engaging with our senses at Kinterbury Creek, learning about how mankind’s relationship with nature has changed from cavemen days, and making new nature words for our Devonian Nature Dictionary.  The pupils made up some wonderful words, like ‘mudderflies’ which is a new word for the butterflies you feel in your stomach when you jump in the mud! We all had mudderflies at the Creek today, and would like to say a big thank you to St Paul’s for your brilliant ideas!
